A meeting of the reform group on the launch of the energy exchange was held at the head office of Enguri HPP LLC. The parties discussed the challenges and current issues in this area.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission, the electricity market operator, Georgian State Electrosystem, the energy exchange and Enguri HPP LLC. In the course of the discussion the parties set out their views on a number of issues and reached agreement.

It should be noted that this latest meeting of the reform group on the launch of the energy exchange was organised by the commercial service of Enguri HPP LLC. Discussions of this kind are continuing actively.
