On the initiative of and organised by Enguri HPP LLC, an internal working meeting was held on the plan of action on the Georgian energy exchange and the balancing market. The reform of the energy exchange, the day-ahead and intraday markets, price formation on the day-ahead and intraday markets, and the balancing market are only a few of the topics that representatives of the commercial service presented to those attending the meeting.

At the two-day working meeting, employees of Georgian State Electrosystem JSC also gave presentations. The speakers discussed the European energy market, the nature of the balancing market and its products, emergency management and other current issues.

The meeting was held in a question-and-answer format. The parties focused on the challenges, expectations and tasks relating to the effective participation of Enguri HPP LLC in the energy exchange.

The meeting was attended by representatives of Enguri HPP LLC and of the Vardnili HPP Cascade LLC.
