The Minister of Economy and the US Ambassador visited Enguri HPP

The Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Natia Turnava, visited the Samegrelo–Zemo Svaneti region together with the Ambassador of the United States of America to Georgia, Kelly Degnan.

The Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Natia Turnava, visited the Samegrelo–Zemo Svaneti region together with the Ambassador of the United States of America to Georgia, Kelly Degnan.

During the visit the two sides toured the Enguri hydropower plant and other principal landmarks of the region.

The minister and the ambassador were received by Levan Mebonia, chairman of the Board of Directors of Enguri HPP LLC, Joni Chania, head of the Arch Dam department, and representatives of the local authorities.
